Former fetish priestess, Nana Agradaa, cannot atone for her sins with a simple press conference and must be dealt with by the law the Bono Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe has said.

Speaking on Nana Agradaa’s overnight transition from a fetish priestess to an an Evangelist, the NPP Chairman also known as Abronye stated on Wontumi TV that it doesn’t lie in the power of the President to arrest any criminal who has defrauded people by false pretense and for that reason is expecting the Ghana Police Service to arrest Agradaa.

So she (Agradaa) wants to tell us that she has changed from her bad ways; from ‘sika gari’ to anointed oil ‘gari’?…It doesn’t lie in the power of the President to arrest criminals it is it the duty of the Ghana Police Service. She can’t cure her sins with just a press conference” Chairman Abronye said.

In his view the despite Agradaa denouncing her ways she has already committed an offense by defrauding people and deserves to be jailed for 3 years.

She defraud people by false pretense and it is in act 69 of our criminal code, she has to be jailed for at least for 3 years“, Abronye said.

He predicted that allowing Agradaa to operate as an Evangelist would cause oil shortages in Ghana since she would use Christianity as an avenue to import normal oil and dupe people with it as an anointing oil.

She would start importing oil from Togo and turn out to use them as anointing oil. This would cause oil shortages in Ghana“, a worried Abronye observed.
