Sharing details of a private telephone call with Gabby Otchere-Darko to the public shows how politically immature Prof. Frimpong-Boateng is lawyer Maurice Ampaw has asserted.
The seasoned lawyer stated on Wontumi TV’s ‘Mmra Ne Abrabo Mu Nsem’ show that there is nothing fascinating about the political career of Prof. Frimpong-Boateng who has however distinguished himself as a heart surgeon.
“He has done well as a heart surgeon but he has failed as a politician…You can’t see anything interesting about his political career”, lawyer Ampaw said as he called Prof. Frimpong-Boateng a “mess” in politics.
Prof Frimpong-Boateng in a 36-page report recalls how Gabby Otchere-Darko, called him on phone to question his decision to order for the dislodgment of equipment of a Mining Company Imperial Heritage which Prof. Frimpong Boateng argues was mining illegally with a prospecting license in forest reserves.
In response however, Gabby pointed out that he was only acting in his capacity as a senior partner of Africa Legal Associates and legal representative of the company.
Reacting to the release of the document, lawyer Ampaw maintained that “this is one of the bogus reports and thank God government has rejected it. If the report is tested at the law court you will be in trouble.”
He thanked President Akufo-Addo for rubbishing the report noting that “I thank God that the President, presidency and government didn’t accept this report. It should be rejected outright. It is highly incompetent and written by somebody who is peeved and somebody who is angry and somebody who is not happy.”
