Royal Family Didn’t Invite John Mahama To Queen’s Funeral Because Of Airbus Scandal- Chairman Wontumi

Former President John Mahama was not invited to the Queen’s burial because the Royal family took note of sacrilege acts; especially the airbus scandal- the Ashanti Regional Chairman, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako has revealed.

The NPP Chairman popularly known as Chairman Wontumi disclosed to Wontumionline.com that the Royal family is still amazed by the famous role played by ‘Government Official One’ who has been smoked out to be Mr. John Mahama in the entire scandal.

“The Royal Family command respect and they don’t want to associate with scandalous persons who have gained fame through international corruption. They know who Government Official One is in the Airbus scandal and that is the reason they didn’t send an invitation to Mr. John Mahama”, he said.

Before Mr. Martin Amidu left office as Special Prosecutor, his office established the identity of Government official 1 in the Airbus SE scandal as former President John Dramani Mahama.

According to the Special Prosecutor, Mr Martin Amidu, “the only reason the former President [Mahama] has not been invited for interrogation (in spite of all threats from some of his followers and lawyers) is the fact that he got himself an insurance as the Presidential candidate of the other largest political party in Ghana.”

On Monday, September 19, 2022, world leaders arrived in London to pay their final respects to Queen Elizabeth II.

The queen, who died on September 8 at the age of 96, was given a state funeral – the first in the United Kingdom since 1965 following the death of wartime Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill.
