Ghanaian rapper Medikal has reacted to a viral video showing his ex-wife, Fella Makafui, dancing enthusiastically to his performance during the recent Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs).
Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on OK FM, the rapper addressed the videos that have been making rounds on social media and clarified how he felt after seeing Fella Makafui enjoying his performance.
According to Medikal, he saw nothing unusual about the moment and described it purely as entertainment.
Responding to Nana Romeo’s question about his reaction to the viral clips, the rapper explained that he was simply happy to see people vibing to his music, adding that his main focus as an artist is to entertain his audience.
He stated that seeing Fella Makafui dance to his song during his performance was entertaining for him and nothing more.
“It is entertainment,” Medikal said repeatedly during the interview, emphasizing that he genuinely enjoys seeing people dance and jump to his songs whenever he performs.
“I mean its entertainment, I’m glad am able to make someone happy through my music. I am always happy when people jam to my songs to for her to get up and jam to it, it was nice,” he said
The rapper further noted that he believed his TGMA performance was a good one, which naturally got people excited and dancing along.
The videos of Fella Makafui dancing to Medikal’s music sparked reactions online, with many social media users sharing different opinions about the moment due to the pair’s past relationship.
However, Medikal appears unbothered by the discussions, insisting that the moment was simply about enjoying music and entertainment.
