Former Ashanti Regional Director for the National Service Scheme (NSS), Alex Opoku Mensah (OMENS), has praised the down-to-earth nature of New Patriotic Party (NPP) Ashanti Regional Chairman aspirant Lawyer Dr. Henry Kwabena Kokofu, saying he is a man of peace.
Speaking to constituency executives as part of Dr. Kokofu’s constituency tour, the former NSS director had only good words for Dr. Kokofu. He said the former Member of Parliament for Bantama is a man of integrity whose positive qualities are too many to count.
“The positive attributes of Chairman Kokofu are many; we will not be able to exhaust them all when we start talking about them,” he said.
OMENS did not stop there. According to him, there is one thing Dr. Kokofu excels at, and that is tolerance.
“Dr. Kokofu is a very tolerant human being. He is someone who smiles even when you speak against him,” he stated.
Dr. Kokofu has a strong academic background, and one credential OMENS pointed to as making him stand out is his Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution.
He believes this knowledge is needed for a party like the NPP, which brings together people from diverse backgrounds. According to him, the skill will be valuable in helping to forge growth and unify the party in the region.
He urged the executives to give their votes to Dr. Kokofu, saying he is the only one who can help the region and the party in 2028.
