The Bono East Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. David Boakye has elaborated extensively on the policy strategies and vision of the Vice President and Presidential aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the way forward Ghana can compete with developed countries, describing the visionary speech of veep as the ground-breaking strategy capable of revolutionising Ghana entirely.
“What happened at UPSA indicates that the NPP is the only party to transform the fortunes of this Nation. Bawumia has proven beyond reasonable doubt that he is capable of managing the affairs of this country”
Speaking further, he noted that, “the NDC for the first time will present to Ghanaians a manifesto with little hope and trust but the vice president being the master of it will expose them in his manifesto that will be out very soon”
David Boakye gave a detailed breakdown of Dr Bawumia’s mining policy, affirming his belief in the potential of the policy to transform the mining sector, particularly the small scale mining sector while Ghana flys on the global ranks of mining and gold reserves.
He explained that Bawumia’s vision anchored on Ghana’s challenges and thematic areas, which are “ushering Ghana into a Golden age for the maximization of the benefits from our natural resources like gold, lithium, bauxite and so on.
