The opposition People’s National Congress (PNC) has congratulated President Akufo-Addo for exercising his duty in presenting the State of the Nation Address.
The PNC has also commended the President for his willingness to lead the country back to the right economic track.
In a statement signed by the Party’s Secretary, Janet Asana Nabla, the PNC is in the statement of the President that Ghana is going through economic hardship.
“The President’s acknowledgement we are in economic hardship is a show of good faith that can lead us to solve our economic challenge,” part of the statement read.
The party has urged that a sacrifice must be made by the government by cutting down on expenditures whiles ensuring effective revenue mobilization to meet the essential demands of the country.
