“We know Aduomi, he has been on the NPP ticket for three times, every property he made including his girlfriends are in the NPP”
Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has described the just ended Ejisu by-election as an internal debut between the NPP and Kwabena Owusu Aduomi who was the independent candidate.
Chairman Wontumi claimed that Mr. Aduomi, who garnered 21, 534, representing 43.3% of the total votes cast was sponsored by the NDC and some individuals who once benefited from the NPP.
He said the elephant symbol will remain significant, iconic and a pillar in Ghana’s politics
“Anybody that has benefited from the NPP before cannot go and come back to fight the elephant and be successful”
He jabbed Mr Aduomi for his propaganda claims on the major roads constructed in the Ejisu Municipality as his achievements.
“Anybody who don’t defend the truth means you are benefiting from the lies. how can Aduomi take credit for roads and markets constructed in Ejisu, it’s government projects and was done b the president of the republic, Nana Addo”
