
Justin Kodua Frimpong the incumbent General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) has promised to give his unwavering support to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia after he successfully filed his nomination forms at the party’s headquarters seeking to run for a second time as General Secretary of the party.
Mr. Kodua when speaking to party supporters today stated he will not disappoint the party’s rank and file on the faith they have placed in him.
He said as General Secretary, now and in the future, he will continue to give his support to the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, saying it’s his dream and he will never leave any stone unturned.
“I will continue to give my unflinching support to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.It is my dream and it is a dream backed with emotions and passions that I will never leave any stone unturned. I will work to make sure Dr. Bawumia becomes President in 2028,” he said.
He promised to continue his campaign based on a message devoid of personal attacks speaking about what he has done and what he will do.
Justin Kodua Frimpong is set to contest against three other individuals when the processes for vetting and balloting are done.
They include former Subin Member of Parliament(MP) Eugene Boakye Antwi, Former Bortianor-Ngleshi Amanfrom MP Sylvester Tetteh and the current National Treasurer Dr. Charles Dwamena
The filing for nominations for the party’s National Executive Elections began on Sunday August 23 and is expected to end on Saturday August 29. Fifty nomination forms were picked for the nine positions.
