Zongos Deserve Something Better, Not Mortuaries- Oteatuoso Bites Mahama

Nana Oteatuoso, Etwienana Baffour Oteatuoso Kokoben has chastised John Mahama for promising more mortuaries for the Zongos.

Nana Oteatuoso said that, the Zongos play a vital role in national development efforts and therefore, deserve something better than the “ reward” of mortuaries.

In an interview on the Kumasi-based Wontumi Radio and TV Morning Show on Monday, he stressed that, John Mahama must bow his head in shame and he and his NDC should apologise to the Zongos for that insulting promise.

“President Nana Akufo Addo has helped the SHS students secured free SHS to shape their lives and they are about to acquire tertiary education. Instead of you to promise something better you are promising mortuaries.” The Akyem Royal fumed.

Nana Oteatuoso indicated that death is inevitable though, yet a former Head demeaning disparaging of state can’t make such promise.

According to the NPP sympathizer, John Mahama has called on Nananom to advise NPP supporters to refrain from perpetrating violent acts prior to the elections but he has forgotten his own derogatory comments that the NDC is more violent than the NPP.

“John Mahama once said, NDC has revolutionary background and also said that, he won’t allow the voters’ registration exercise come on. I don’t know what has come upon him to make a u-turn.”

Shedding more light on threats by NDC operatives that establish their h violent background, he added that , “Muntaka also cautioned eligible registrants prior to the voters’ registration exercise to bid their families farewell before going to the centers. Sammy Gyamfi also threatened the national security but John Mahama has forgotten all these.” Nana Oteatuoso said

The Akyem Royal noted that, the good people of Ghana are busily thinking of the excellent work Nana Akufo-Addo is doing to develop the country and will have no time for John Mahama and his NDC’s “dangerous threats and flimsy promises.”
