Youth Development Group Donates Books To Basic Schools In Hwidiem
Hwidiem Youth for Development under agenda “ONE STUDENT, ONE EXERCISE BOOK”, has donated over 3000 exercise books to Hwidiem schools to bolster the students in their education.
The books which were donated by Nana Asuo Acheamfour Kyiriyawamu, Hiahene of Asante Akyem Hwidiem and old students of Bompata Secondary School, 1992 batch worth GHC 5000.
Earlier on, Mr. James Carl Kennedy, native of Hwidiem also constructed computer laboratory for the school.
The Member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Andy Appiah also provided a set of computers to the school.
Mr Kumi James the headmaster for Hwidiem JHS, admonished parents to do their possible best to entice their wards and also not lay their burden on the government.
