Accounts from the Judges of the Supreme Court has proven beyond reasonable doubt that there was “no sense” in the petition the defeated flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress sent to the court, a political analyst has remarked.
Nana Oteatuoso Kokobeng II in an interview on the Wontumi Morning Show which was monitored by Wontumionline.com stated that unlike the 2013 election petition that nearly brought about a split decision between the Judges that ruled on the petition then candidate Akufo-Addo presented to them, the 2021 petition shows that none of the Judges considered the case brought before them by Mr. Mahama to be worth their vote.
He described Mr. Mahama’s petition to the court as senseless considering the reaction it triggered from the Judges noting that our history books, would keep it as such for future generations to come.
“There was no sense in the petition John Mahama sent to the Supreme Court. Was it the right decision for the NDC to embark on?” he quizzed.
He called on members of the New Patriotic Party to use the current happenings as a stepping stone to win the 2024 elections.
