Your Destiny Is In Your Hands- Nana Oteatuoso To BECE Candidates
Akwanserehene of Akyem Kwabeng, Etwienana Baffour Oteatuoso Kokoben II, has sent his warmest wishes to the BECE candidates who started their exams today.
He noted that, the students journey to occupy higher positions in the public service to secure a better future or to pursue careers that will make them financially independent in future and get better begins today.
Some 2,154 candidates are sitting for the 2020 private Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) across the country.
In an interview on the Kumasi-based Wontumi Radio and TV Morning Show on early Monday morning, he admonished the students to gather confidence for the exam by doing away with unnecessary anxieties.
“Be serious with the exam. What you have been taught in school is what you are going to answer. Don’t scared .” The Akyem Royal urged the students
He strongly advised the students to comply with all the rules and regulations governing the exam.
“Observe all the rules and the regulations especially the COVID-19 protocols. Don’t change anything at the exam center.” He said
Nana Oteatuoso, however, strongly appealed to the students to consider getting a good pass as that is the only means by which they can advance to the free SHS level and also to show appreciation to the President for his efforts to make education affordable for all.
“You also owe it a duty to make your parents proud by aiming at the sky as your limit in applying the knowledge you’ve acquired in the classroom.” He challenged the BECE candidates.
