The Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr., has been accused by the Bono regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party of being quick to run down policies of the party on radio but turning to them when he needs money to settle his medical bills.
“When you are sick, you come to NPP leaders. Recently you came for GHC 30k and used it for your medical bills”, Kwame Baffoe alias Abronye revealed on the Nsempa Fie show on Wontumi TV.
The NPP Chairman, Abronye questioned Kwesi Pratt over his recent decision to run down the free Senior High School (SHS) policy and limit the progress of student to the presence of Boko Haram in Nigeria.
According to Abronye, Mr. Pratt is on record to have said final year students of the free SHS excelled in their examination because Boko Haram was disturbing their colleagues in Nigeria.
But Abronye responded to the analysis of Mr. Pratt by stating that these days, the respected journalist has lost it and doesn’t produce useful research and analysis because his “brain slowed down”.
He buttressed his point by noting that Mr. Pratt got it wrong because even with the presence of Boko Haram, students in Nigeria beat Ghanaian students in 2014, 2015 and 2016 in WASSCE when Mr. John Mahama was President of Ghana.
Abronye accused Kwesi Pratt Jnr., of spewing nonsense and talking based on the “breakfast” when he speaks on radio.
