The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has sharply replied Kennedy Agyapong over the latter’s inaccurate claims that the party didn’t perform well in the region during the 2020 elections.
Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi told the Assin Central legislator that he lied when he made those pronouncements since available evidence doesn’t support his claim.
Chairman Wontumi emphasized that the NPP performed well in the Ashanti region than the gains they made in Central region where the loudmouth Kennedy Agyapong is a legislator.
“If Ashanti region didn’t perform well what about our performance in Central region? I wasn’t there but you perform badly”, Chairman Wontumi said during a press briefing held yesterday to correct certain lies Kennedy Agyapong recently said in Ashanti region.
He urged Kennedy Agyapong to move away from making false claims and “say what you can do”.
