A communicator of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Ishmael Adams, has said former President John Mahama’s International Monitory Fund (IMF) bailout was to fight un-existing Ebola.
Stressing on President Akufo-Addo’s assurance of reviving the economy on Movement In The Morning Show with Kwaku Dawuro, Mr. Adams urged Ghanaians to remain patient and not listen to Mahama who opted for an IMF bailout to fight Ebola- a pandemic that Ghana recorded zero.
He said, ”John Mahama took Ghana to IMF as part of the measures to fight Ebola when the country had recorded non. Ghanaians must not resort to their lies. President Akufo-Addo has a big vision for Ghana. He has tasked the Agric Minister, Owusu Afriyie Akoto to collaborate with market queens to supply tracks for the transportation of foods that has been left to the rot at the farms”.
”Anytime we get the chance to speak to Ghanaians we must say words of encouragement to comfort them”, he stated.
He added that Ghana was doing well until the advent of Covid-19 which affected a lot of businesses including cosmetic businesses.
