Most Civil Society Organizations in Ghana are made up of dishonest men who would only make sense when they have been given wad of cash, legislator for Assin Central has cried.

His comments come at the back of oppositions by Civil Society Groups against the Agyapa Royalties deal.

CSOs in the country are demanding the withdrawal of the deal on the basis that processes involved lack transparency.

But addressing the issue of Agyapa Royalties deal on Security Tips, a show which airs on Wontumi TV, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong blasted the Civil Society Group noting that they have not been fair to government simply because their palms have not greased.

They (CSOs) only make meaningful contributions when envelops change hands. They have to fair and I know most of them are intellectuals but their position on the Agyapa deal is that of intellectual dishonesty”, the maverick politician said in the interview monitored by Wontumionline.com.
