There was once a grand scheme in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to oust Asiedu Nketia from office and replace him with Koku Anyidoho, the latter has revealed.
The move was being sponsored by NDC heavy weights and they only needed Koku to assent to it so they would act immediately to throw General Mosquito out as General Secretary of the party.
Koku’s decision not to yield to it, has kept General Mosquito in office till date and he wonders why the man he once saved has turned his back on him.
In an interview with Oheneba on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, Mr. Anyidoho, stated that General Mosquito once came to his office and knelt before him to thank him for saving him when it was clear the party didn’t want him at post.
“People in the party (NDC) wanted him (Asiedu Nketia) ousted and wanted me to take over… He (Asiedu Nketia) came to my office with my photographer, knelt before me and thanked me for contesting him”, Koku Anyidoho put on record.
He also touched on his supposed dismissal from the NDC.
According to Mr. Anyidoho, he has done a content analysis of the letter Asiedu Nketia issued to the media and realized that the letter carries no weight and it is just a useless decision taken by the General Secretary for the NDC.
