The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP), Kofi Owusu Omar has slammed Kwabena Mintah Akandoh for not being a matured politician.
Mintah Akandoh, who is the Member of Parliament for the Juaboso Constituency has been a member of the 6th and 7th Parliament, but Mr. Omar feels he has not matured with time.
The assertion by the GCPP comes on the back of the needless stunt which was pulled by some National Democratic Congress (NDC) MPs led by Mintah Akandoh when they visited the Afari Military Hospital in Ashanti region without using the right channel.
A fallout ensued between the Minority members of the Health Committee and soldiers on guard duties at the 500-bed Afari Military Hospital last Monday during their unofficial visit to the project site.
The soldiers informed the MPs mainly National Democratic Congress (NDC) members that were not under an obligation to allow them inspect the state of the project.
In discussing the situation, Chairman Omar noted that Mintah Akandoh was always exhibiting the traits of an immature politician and has never grown in the game.
He therefore charged the youth of the country to reject the NDC noting that the party is the reason Ghana went back as a country.
