Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, has never been considered a serious woman in life following her utterances and negative stance against the implementation of the free Senior High School Policy by the Akufo-Addo led government, Nana Oteatuoso Kokobeng II has observed.
Nana Oteatuoso Kokobeng II’s comment comes on the back of a disparaging statement by the former Educational Minister and running mate to Mr. John Mahama that students who recently wrote their final WASCE exams in Ghana, cheated to pass.
Responding to her remark on Wontumi TV, Nana Oteatuoso Kokobeng II highlighted that the controversial past of Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang makes it difficult for him to consider her a serious woman.
He described her as a person who doesn’t want children of school going age to flourish in their studies.
According to him, the former Educational Minister secretly continued to recieve her monthly salary when she had made it public she had resigned from post as lecturer at UCC.
He continued that she also led a delegation to sign a petition to free three men who had threatened to rape the Chief Justice of Ghana when the National Democratic Congress (NDC) was in power.
Lastly, Nana Oteatuoso Kokobeng II stated that Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang assisted and gave a foreword to a book that was written by Prof. Kwamena Ahwoi purposely to insult the founder of NDC, the late former President Jerry John Rawlings.
