Host of the Wontumi Morning Show, Oheneba Nana Asiedu, has asked Alan Kyeremanten to bow down his head in shame for failing to successfully oversee a common cassava cultivation project handed over to him by former President Kufuor.
“You couldn’t even take care of ‘banchi’ and you want to insult Kufuor?” Oheneba sarcastically asked.
The TV journalist asked the former Trade Minister to humble himself and not to assume he has reached the pedigree former President John Agyekum Kufour has attained in life.
His comment comes on the back of a recent outburst Alan Kyeremanten publicly made against his former boss.
Alan Kyeremanten recently attacked former President John Agyekum Kufour over his endorsement of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia ahead of the 2024 general election.
As President, Kufuor appointed Alan Kyeremanten to spearhead the President’s Special Initiatives (PSI).
The brain behind the innovative programme was to produces high grade industrial starch from cassava for export to key markets in Europe, Africa and Asia. It was also aimed at creating over 10,000 jobs and developing an innovative approach in rural industry development based on the concept of Corporate Village Enterprises.
But Alan Kyeremanten failed to make the project come true.
