You Cannot Underate Bawumia’s Political Influence In This County – Miracles Aboagye

The Director of Local Government Services at the Office of the President, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, has said the vice president Dr Mahamudu Bawumia political influence can not be underrated in this country.

Mr Aboagye in reaction to why majority of NPP leaders are in support of the vice president Dr Bawumia, he stated that he (the vice president) is the only candidate Ghanaians are willing to vote for and the only aspirant who’s influence has reduces the number of seats NDC was having in the then Northern Region from 28 to 15.

” As of the time Dr Bawumia has become our running mate, the then Northern Region has 31 parliamentary seats, NDC has 28 out of the 31, NPP has only 3 . Today, ever since Dr Bawumia started working to let them understand the principles, philosophies and ideologies of the NPP, when you go to the North NPP has 16 while the NDC dropped to 15 out of the same 31 seats”

Only Dr Bawumia has added political values to NPP than any candidate among the aspirants and this was the time he was a running mate and has managed to reduce John Mahama’s influence in the North from 28 seats to 15. ” you cannot underate Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s political influence in this country” he added

Speaking on the ‘Talk Ghana Show’ on Wontumi Radio/TV, Miracles said Bawumia’s influence is not attracted by the Northerners or Ashanti’s only but the non traditional areas, the smaller groups votes can be won by Dr Bawumia.

” Every single person in NPP is conscious about what I’ve said and that’s why the party is united from the base, from polling station level to the highest level in our party, united to deliver Dr Bawumia to the good people of Ghana”

“He’s the only candidate who can win Mahama, Today as I speak, if election is to be held, between Mahama and Bawumia who all comes from the North, I tell you Bawumia will win him. Ashanti’s will vote for him because Mahama is also from the North” , he expressed.
