Wulucky Lottery, Ltd is a solely owed Ghanaian company, licensed by the National Lottery Authority to operate Lotto business in Ghana. It is located in Abelemkpe, one of the reputable business areas in Accra.
Wulucky seeks to become a dominant player in the lotto industry.
With the advent of the online lotto games, it has become so convenient for lotto lovers to stake Lotto from the comfort of their homes and anywhere they wish, to the extent that geographical limitations are now a thing of the past.
The best part is that one can stake Lotto at the comfort of their home and office without struggling to locate a lotto kiosk. This trend will obviously continue and very soon majority of lotto lovers will be patronizing online lotto games.

When mobile money was first introduced in Ghana in 2009, it took a while to gain as much traction and popularity.
However, in just a few years, mobile money has become one of the most preferred payment methods for Ghanaians. According to a 2019 report by the World Bank, Ghana has become the fastest-growing mobile money market in Africa.
According to Summary of Economic and Financial Data published by the Bank of Ghana in March 2020, there are now over 14.7 million active mobile money accounts and 235,000 active agents, and still growing.
Wulucky intends to capture a sizable number of active players out of the 14.7 million mobile money account holders, because the lotto games industry will predominantly be using mobile money account to stake lotto.
It is important that Wulucky invest heavily in creating awareness, and educate customers to patronize our lotto games, using mobile technology through Social Media, Billboard, Radio, TV and print media.

Introduction:
On behalf of Wulucky Ghana Limited it gives me immense pleasure to welcome you all to this event, particularly the representatives of the National Lotteries Authority (NLA) to help us officially launch Wulucky Ghana Limited as a Licensed Lotto Operator.
The name of the company was coined out of the notion that “Any day could be Your Lucky Day” hence the name Wulucky.
It is indeed a day to rejoice and to remember. The industry has come a long way, from the days when we used to manually write and submit coupons to Department of National Lotteries (DNL), sometimes days before and after the close of the games.
Today, technology has made it possible, in a way that we can play the game on our phones, receive instant notification of tickets, results and winnings.
Thus, today is an extremely important day for Wulucky Ghana Limited to introduce the Random Number Generator (RNG) lotto game, a secured and safe computerized system, used in place of ball draw machines, which draws random numbers to entertain and create opportunities for lotto enthusiast to WIN BIG.
The Wulucky computerized lotto game platform is safe, secure and transparent.
It is wonderful to see that this launch has generated such interest and has attracted the media, guest and players not only from within the city but also from afar.
The growing popularity of the lottery game, the increasing patronage and sometimes human error in writing of the numbers as well as the selection of the winners and payment of winnings, motivated us to begin the development of a home-grown mobile lotto game solutions to meet the needs of the digitized age and to compete globally.
We took up the challenge and employed, locally but highly skilled young graduates from our universities to build world class lottery systems, to digitize lotto operations in Ghana.
Whether we like it or not we are now a part of the global lotto industry and the challenge for us is to understand how we can be active, participants.
At Wulucky we believe we have to become the subjects of lotto industry history rather than its objects.
Whether we like it or not, we are immersed in a world that is racing along with technology and we have to embrace and take advantage to develop innovative products for the lotto industry and help create opportunities for jobs.
In order for us to grow and evolve as a successful company, we need to constantly reimagine the future and create e-commence opportunities.
We believe Wulucky is a partnership between NLA and our esteemed customers.
I would like to say to our partners today that we are very proud of this alliance and I am doubly proud of the confidence that you have exhibited in us.
We are committed to ensuring the success, growth, expansion and positioning of Wulucky as a leading Licensed Lotto Operator in Ghana.
The key challenge facing our society is to produce sustainable job creation and this will be one of the keys focuses of developing innovative products for the lotto industry.
This will herald a new chapter in our history of SMME development and directly address and enhance job creation in the high-tech sector.
I can assure our regulator NLA, that Wulucky is ideally positioned to contribute towards the development of the Lotto industry and the economy of the country. This priority is fundamental to our mandate.
Our staff, with the help of technology has the potential to enter the global stage by developing new and innovative products for the industry which could be a motivation for young graduates.
I would like to conclude by saying that the establishment of WULUCKY is to build on our rich tradition of using lotto as a tool to entertain, create job and contribute towards national development.
This tradition will have multiple outputs and we hope that it will provide a strong basis for a growing relationship between Wulucky and NLA.

Good afternoon everyone.Mr Chairman, Guest Speaker , invited guest, ladies and gentlemen. I warmly welcome you all on the occasion of WULUCKY lotto launch.
It is a matter of great pride to be part of this launch and to give a brief history about our journey.
It all started somewhere in 2018 when NLA opened the window for private companies to apply for a Licence to operate banker to banker lotto.
WULUCKY took advantage of that opportunity and applied.
As part of the initial application, we went through a very rigorous screening process by various state institutions.
After some weeks we were cleared as a fit and proper company to operate banker to banker lotto . ( at this point I would like to commend NLA for putting in place very stringent measures to prevent miscreants from penetrating the lottery industry) Dr and your team we say Ayekooo and well done.
Just when the real journey for the vetting of our application began at NLA, COVID-19 set in and halted all activities.
This lasted for about 1 and a half years so somewhere at the early part of 2020 when the COVID-19 subsided, we activated the vetting process again and thereafter we were given the green light for the issuance of our license.
After several meetings with NLA, our moment of joy finally came on the 18December,2020 , we were issued with our license to operate.
On this note, let’s give a huge round of applause to DG of NLA and his team for allowing WULUCKY to be part of their family.
