Working With Akufo-Addo Is Positively Challenging- Oppong Nkrumah
Minister for Information, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has indicated that, working with President Akufo-Addo ‘is positively challenging”
He said that, Nana Akufo-Addo works tiressly and wants his Ministers to do same.
“It was only when he was asked to isolate himself for 14 days amid the Coronavirus and he rested. Even that period he was making calls via Zoom.” He said
The Ofoase Ayirebi Member of Parliament who paid a surprise visit to Kumasi-based Wontumi Radio and TV on Wednesday afternoon said that, what makes President Akufo-Addo’s work culture is rooted in the strength God has granted him.
“Aside this, Nana Addo takes very good care of himself by refraining from engaging in frivolous acts
to ensure good health and longevity . ”
According to him the President is meticulous in probing every detail of reports submitted to him by those he assigns special duties. This he does by taking time to read such reports brought to his table and raises issues where necessary. .
“He is not the type of person who depends on a third person to get an appraisal of reports meant for his personal attention. Apart from this he applies his legal knowledge to quiz the one whose reports raises doubts.”
According to the Minister, God has prepared him to do a lot of marvelous things to develop the country and called on Ghanaians to have patience.
Hon. Oppong Nkrumah re-emphasized that, the duty conscious nature of the President has challenged his appointees and all those who work in his office to deliver to expectation.
