The Ashanti regional of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi-Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi has dropped a bombshell, accusing Rev. Owusu Bempah of making a U-turn prophecy. Apparently, Rev. Owusu Bempah had initially prophesied victory for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, but recently declared John Dramani Mahama the winner of the 2024 elections
According to Chairman Wontumi, Rev. Owusu Bempah’s sudden change of heart is suspicious, and he claims that Bawumia’s victory was pre-ordained some few months ago when he(Chairman Wontumi) and the vice president visited him.
“Owusu Bempah has already annoited Dr Bawumia and prophesied that Bawumia has a good heart and vision so he is going to win the election, He was holding annoited oil that day, this happened a month two so which God again revealed to you Mahama will win the election and in which language, he ask.”
This revelation has sparked intense debate and outrage on social media, with many Ghanaians expressing shock and disappointment at Rev. Owusu Bempah’s about-face.
The question on everyone’s mind is, what prompted Rev. Owusu Bempah’s dramatic shift? Was it a genuine divine revelation, or was there another factor at play?
Chairman Wontumi’s allegations have added fuel to the fire, leaving many to wonder about the motivations behind Rev. Owusu Bempah’s prophecy.
“If Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Qatar and other Arab countries can develop and move forward in live without any prophecy, then we can also win the election and move Ghana forward without Rev. Owusu Bempah’s prophecy, we are campaigning and we will make sure Ghanaians understand our policies and visions, he addded.
