A promise by former President John Mahama to legalize the operation of motor riders also known as ‘okada’, has come under serious scrutiny as the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, has exposed him.
Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako claims Mr. Mahama’s promise to okada riders are fake and one that is being used as a propaganda tool to get votes.
His main aim according to the NPP Chairman also known as Chairman Wontumi is to get back to power and hand over Ghana’s bauxite worth over $400 billion to his brother Ibrahim Mahama.
Speaking on the Wontumi Morning Show, Chairman Wontumi challenged the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress to tell Ghanaians why his son used an expensive car for his wedding and not a tricycle also known as ‘pragia’.
“Why didn’t you let your son (Sharaf Mahama) wed in a pragia. You rented the most expensive hotel in Dubai for him to wed. You are making all this promise because you want Ghana’s bauxite for your brother”, he said.
