Whilst Chairman Wontumi was out grinding for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), others vying for his position were also out busy womanizing, Dr. Samson Anoma, has said.
Dr. Anoma’s revelation follows attempt by Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, Akwasi Nti and others who have been exposed for making false claims that the NPP owes rent with regards to their Ashanti regional party office.
Speaking on Wontumi TV, Dr. Samson Anoma pointed out that aside the claims being false, Odeneho, Kwasi Nti and others championing the agenda to destroy Chairman Wontumi were busy womanizing when the party needed them for political power.
In a direct message to them, Dr. Anoma stated that “you are attacking Chairman Wontumi but we will also bring your hidden dirty secrets. When we were preparing for elections, you were womanizing and we will show it.”

Chairman Wontumi responds
The Ashanti regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako aka Chairman Wontumi has responded to deliberate attempts to cast a slur upon his image and tell lies that he didn’t fully pay for office space he personally rented out for the party.
He has named Odeneho Kwaku Appiah and Keskine Owusu Poku as the main antagonists scheming to cook the false news about him.
“Because we are about to go for an internal election, some people have met the landlady and given her money to tarnish my image. Odeneho is the one doing that dirty works through Keskine Owusu Poku. Fortunately for Keskine I secured scholarship for him to go and study abroad”, Chairman Wontumi said.
Chairman Wontumi who was livid about the development, told Wontumionline that after renting out the entire building for 10 years, he renovated the entire building with his own money and immediately reconnected the house after it had been disconnected from light and water for years.
“They owed electricity and water bill for years and I paid. The house had been disconnected from using such utilities because they had not paid”, Chairman Wontumi revealed.
Chairman Wontumi further explained that he got to know about the property through Agya Osei, a former Ashanti regional Vice Chairman and Secretary for Bantama Constituency.
He added that after expressing interest in the property, Daniel Owusu was introduced to him by Agya Osei.
Out of benevolence, Chairman Wontumi added that he agreed to a request by Daniel Owusu, his mum and siblings to continue staying in the building he had rented from them.
“Daniel came to me that they needed money to complete a building for their mum and pleaded to me that they want to stay in the house I have rented from them for 3 months”.
“For the past 8 years, the family numbering about 20 have been staying in the building I rented from them and they still don’t pay electricity and water bill- I pay for them and I don’t take rent from them for staying in property I have rented from them”, Chairman Wontumi explained.
