The Founder of the ‘Nyame Tease Ampa’ Prayer Ministry, Prophet Paul Kusi Appiah, has questioned the rationale behind a 24 hour economy and condemned by stating that it is meaningless to the economic development of any church.
Prophet Paul Kusi Appiah stated in a one-on-one interview with Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi TV that to choose between the 24 hour economy proposal being championed by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and digitalization being undertaken by the New Patriotic Party (NPP), he will choose digitalization.
“What will 24 hour economy do for my church?” he questioned.
Former President and flagbearer of the NDC, John Dramani Mahama, has been trumpeting a 24-hour economy that he believes will breathe fresh life into the Ghanaian economy.
Bawumia on the other hand, has been championing government’s relentless digital agenda and this is evident in the healthcare sector. He recently launched a multi-functional, cross-utility card to access and pay for public transport services across the country.
