WEATHER UPDATE 18/10/2021
✓ The thunderstorms or rains predicted earlier today for southern Ghana is occurring over parts of the Eastern, Volta, Ashanti and Bono regions.
✓ The thunder and rain clouds are expected to develop further and spread over more areas within the middle sector to produce moderate to heavy rains this afternoon into the evening (between 1430 UTC and 2000 UTC).
✓ Parts of the coastal sector (particularly over the inland areas) are also expected to experience moderate rain and thunder between 1430 UTC and 1800 UTC
✓ Areas within the northern sector (especially over the Upper regions) will continue to be cloudy with cases of rain of varying intensity this afternoon into the night.
