The Ashanti regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has blasted former President Mahama for choosing to wear a white linen shirt instead of a sports wear for a supposed fit walk his own office organised.
“He is speaking about 24 hour economy but his chose of attire shows his brain can’t work for 24 hours. He was attending a keep fit walk but his brain was telling him he was attending an all-white party. Even his own brain can’t function for 24 hours under pressure”, Chairman Wontumi said.
On Saturday, 20 July 2024, the 2024 flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) staged and climaxed his Get Fit & Ready Mahama walk at Nungua Town Park in Accra.
Reacting to the walk, Chairman Wontumi stated that he believes Mr. Mahama is not fit for purpose.
“How can you forget to wear a sports wear for your own event? You could have worn a football jersey to the event to match the purpose but to wear a white linen shirt shows that the man is sick. I believe he got the whole calculation wrong”, Chairman Wontumi said.
