We Will Increase Akufo-Addo Votes In Ashanti Region Massively – Dennis Kwakwa

The youth wing of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region has vowed to increase the votes of President Akufo-Addo massively and also win all the 47 parliamentary seats in the region for the party in the 2020 general elections.

Addressing the youth at the official inauguration of the Ashanti Regional NPP Youth Wing’s 2020 Election Campaign Team at the Georgia Hotel in Kumasi over the weekend, Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer who is also the regional NABCO Coordinator Dennis Kwakwa stated emphatically that the youth wing is the heartbeat of the NPP, therefore the party is counting heavily on them to lead the campaign and help retain power for the NPP to continue with its “extraordinary works.”

According to him, President Akufo-Addo has fulfilled key 2016 Manifesto promises that have had far-reaching positive impact on the lives of majority of Ghanaians, adding that “to protect the significant progress we have witnessed in all sectors of the economy, especially education, and to consolidate the gains made, it’s imperative that the Ghanaian youth campaign vigorously for President Akufo-Addo and vote to give him four more years to do more for Ghanaians”.

Mr. Dennis Kwakwa popularly known as “Commander” admonished the youth to not let their guard down and allow themselves to be deceived by the “lofty and whimsical promises of the incompetent, corrupt and unreliable NDC party”, stating that “when the Incompetent Mahama was President, he turned a blind eye to the plights of Ghanaian youth and gave no listening ears to the wailing of teachers and students, even though he knew that he will campaign for our votes once more.

“At the time the Incompetent Mahama was asking for another term in office, he told Ghanaians who were suffering from Dumsor-Dumsor, Job loses, and other economic hardships that “I have a dead goat syndrome”. In that same period, he cancelled trainee allowances and he said with arrogance and pride that “I will never restore trainee allowance even if it will cause me the 2016 elections” Kwakwa has said.

He further argued that judging from the track record and innate traits of Mr. Mahama, if the youth make a mistake to elect him as President in 2020, he will do his worse because he will not stand for elections again per the 1992 constitution.

Dennis Kwakwa however urged youth in the Ashanti region to join hands and work hard to ensure votes of President Akufo-Addo and the NPP increases to retain them in power to continue with their policies for the youth and Ghanaians at large.
