‘We Want Our Dad To Be Remembered The Right Way’ – Lumba’s Son

The children of late Ghanaian highlife icon Daddy Lumba are preparing to honour his legacy in a lasting way as plans begin ahead of his one-year death anniversary.

Speaking in a recent interview, Calvin Fosu, the first son of the legendary musician, revealed that all the children of Daddy Lumba have come together with a common goal to ensure their father is remembered positively for generations to come.

According to him, the children are united in protecting and preserving the remarkable legacy the highlife legend left behind through his music and impact on Ghana’s entertainment industry.

“We definitely want our father to be remembered the right way for the next hundred years and beyond. And this time we, as the kids, want to go forward and do this together, and do it as united as possible to make sure that the one year will be for everyone to remember him the right way,” he stated.

He further noted that the upcoming one-year anniversary will reflect the siblings’ commitment to celebrating Daddy Lumba’s life, achievements, and influence.

The late highlife musician remains one of Ghana’s most celebrated music icons, with a catalogue of timeless songs that continue to inspire generations of music lovers.
