‘We Stopped Work To Welcome President Akufo-Addo Because He Deserves It’ – NPP-USA Branch Chairperson
The NPP-USA Beach Chairperson, Obaa Yaa Amponsah Frimpong has poured praises on President Akufo-Addo for the measures put in place in Ghana to mitigate COVID-19 vis-a-vis the economy.
“Akufo-Addo’s swift introduction of public safety measures probably saved many lives,”she noted.
According to her the President needs commendation for his relentless gauging of the economy which stood on its feet despite the plaguing Coronavirus.
Speaking on “Talk Ghana” on Wontumi TV on Wednesday 22/09/2021, Obaa Yaa Amponsah Frimpong told Oheneba Nana Asiedu that the commitment of Nana Addo to bring Ghana’s economy to its current status forced them to stop work to give him a rousing welcome while he speaks at the 76th UN General Assembly at the New York in the United States.

It was be the fifth time he addresses the UN General Assembly as President, having done so four times already in his capacity as President during his first term.
