Kennedy Agyapong has spoken about his relationship with the Ashanti regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, describing their bond as that of Siamese twins.
Despite the fights they sometimes pick, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has said that his love for the NPP Chairman popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, would forever remain intact.
In an interview with Alhaji Irbard Ibrahim on Security Tips, a show which airs on Wontumi TV, the legislator noted that just like any normal relationship, he sometimes gets into heated arguments and fights with Chairman Wontumi but they are able to resolve their differences and move on as brothers.
“When people have an issue with him, they call me to talk to him on their behalf. It is same when people have an issue with me, they call him to plead on their behalf“, he revealed.
He pointed out that he is a senior brother to Chairman Wontumi and sometimes tries to correct him when he goes wrong.
“We once argued in the presence of President Akufo-Addo. The President wasn’t happy about it and we managed to resolve the issue there. When I realized we were going far, I jokingly hit Wontumi’s head and we moved on.
I love him and when he goes wrong I correct him. I am his elder brother and when I speak to him he listens”, Kennedy Agyapong said.
