The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, is reminding voters to be wary of the foul antics being used former President John Dramani Mahama as he goes about campaigning.
The NPP Chairman has disclosed that in 2016, the former President and current flagbearer of the NDC, touted his infrastructure development projects through a book known as the Green Book; but later it came to a realization that most the projects were ghost projects.
For this reason, the NPP also known as Chairman Wontumi warned voters not to buy into the campaign promises of Mr. John Mahama.
“We need development but Mahama gave us azaa Green Book. Under him we experienced ‘dumsor’ and we didn’t get free water. Under President Akufo-Addo, the lights are stable and we have free water despite being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic”, Chairman Wontumi explained.
Also, President Akufo-Addo in his address at the commissioning of the Tema Motorway Interchange on Friday, June 5, 2020, said the NDC’s so-called unprecedented infrastructure development of the Mahama administration was fantasy, existing in the Green Book and not on the ground.
