Majority Member of Parliament, Nana Ayew Afriye has affirmed they petitioned President Akufo-Addo to sack the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta and Adu Boahen in the best interest of their constituents.
Nana Ayew Afriye added that they have their constituents at heart.
The Majority MPs in Parliament on 25/10/2022 petitioned Akufo-Addo to fire Ken Ofori-Atta and Adu Boahen from post as the country is experiencing economic hardship.
According to Nana Ayew Afriye, the Majority MPs have no beef with Ken Ofori-Atta and Adu Boahen.
“The confidence the people have in him has waned. If you go to the constituencies and asked them they will endorse our action,” he told Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi TV.
