.Breaking the 8 comes with hardwork and not by mere words.
A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Communications team, Dr. Richard Boadi Suadwa, has sounded a word of caution to members of his party to accept that breaking the 8-year political cycle doesn’t come about by mere words; but hard work.
Speaking on ‘Wontumi Morning Show’ which is a political program, Mr. Boadi said that he is going to reach out to the big-wigs of the party and ask them to speak to authorities for more developments especially in the Ashanti region.
“Ashanti Region is the bank of the NPP and for that matter must have a large share of the national cake in terms of road development”, he said.
He went further to add that the likes of Chairman Wontumi, Ashanti regional Members of Parliament (MPs) led by Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, should use their influence to bring more developments to the region.
He noted that if this is not donw, the party may not be able to break the eight.
