We Can Never Be Ungratefull To NPP – Akomadan Chief

The chief of Akomadan, Nana Akuamoah Boateng II, has emphatically given the assurance that, the people of Akomadan in particular, and the entire Offinso North constituency will not be ungrateful towards the ruling NPP in the upcoming elections in December.

According to the chiefs and people of Akomadan, it is only under this government that the township has experienced massive infrastructural development and that they will return such favours during the December polls.

The chief of Akomadan, Nana Akuamoah Boateng II speaking on behalf of his subjects in his Palace on Tuesday, during a call on him by the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, he recounted the numerous development projects that they are benefitting which has made life easier for them.

Nana Akuamoah Boateng II mentioned the asphalting of most parts of the town, the construction of the local government University, school infrastructure among other projects as some of the things they have received as its share of the national cake.

He added: “we are so much grateful to this government because we have received reasonable portions of the National cake”

Further giving the strongest assurance to the party, the Akomadan chief asserted that, to them, this election is about safeguarding the future and will not do anything that will jeopardise their progress.

The chief also urged the NPP not to be complacent going into this year’s general elections.

He noted that breaking the 8 is not about funfair and jamboree, but going beyond your limit and doing the extraordinary things. ”

The chief has charged the party not to take things for granted, but must remain focused in their resolve to retain power.

In the view of the chief, breaking the eight requires that the party ensures they work extra harder and fight for every vote in the constituency.

Nana Akuamoah Boateng II was happy that though leadership of the party have strongly united for victory, all their efforts will be in vain if their supporters continue to keep pitching camps.

He also wanted the ruling party to channel its aggression on the their political opponents, rather than themselves, adding that the fight should rather be from the NPP to the NDC.

The Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako visited Akomadan on the 6th day of his regional campaign tour to the various constituencies, in effort to sell the policies of the party and its flagbearer, Dr Bawumia to constituents.

He is on the tour with other party leadership including: Beatrice Owusu, Regional Campaign Team Member, Andy Owusu, Political Aide to Chairman Wontumi, George Opoku Amponsah, Spokesperson for Wontumi, as well as other prominent figures of the party.
