‘We Are Not Under Pressure To Give Asanteman A Facelift’- Ashanti Regional Gov’t Appointees

The Ashanti Regional government appointees are saying that they are not under any pressure to develop the stronghold of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The Deputy Minister of Finance, Hon. John Kumah, speaking on The Privilege Morning Show on Wontumi Radio/TV, said the appointees are putting measures in place to make sure the developmental projects in the Region are executed.

He insisted that the appointees are on the nerves of the government to construct the Suame and Oforikrom interchanges.

“We keep on reminding the government about the construction of the Boankra Inland Port,” Hon. John Kumah said.

The MP for Ejisu Constituency told Oheneba Nana Asiedu that, should the appointees not heed to the plight of the electorate and provide opportunities for them, they will show NPP red card in the 2024 general elections.

He said, the youth should exercise patience and relay to them their worries for them to be assisted.

“It is our responsibility to help the youth be recruited into the various government professions.”
