(VIDEO+PHOTOS) NPP Regional Elections: Traders, DCEs, Others File Nomination For Chairman Wontumi
Some Traders, District Chief Executives and some New Patriotic Party (NPP) members have mobilized funds to file nomination forms for Bernard Antwi Boasiako aka Chairman Wontumi to be the Ashanti Regional NPP Chairman for the third term.
This was disclosed by the Campaign Manager for Chairman Wontumi cum Bosomtwe Constituency Chairman, Aikens Addai-Poku after submitting the nomination forms on behalf of Chairman Wontumi at the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council Tuesday morning.
Chairman Aikens said the traders, DCEs and others who mobilised the funds to file the nomination for the incumbent Chairman strongly believe he is the only person who can help break the 8.
He stressed that the NPP needs a person of integrity for the 2024 general elections.
Speaking with the press after the submission, the Bosomtwe Constituency Chairman said the election will be a landslide victory for Chairman Wontumi.
According to him, Chairman Wontumi has received a rousing welcome in areas he has toured in his campaign.
