The former Secretary for New Patriotic Party (NPP), lawyer Obiri Boahen has described General Secretary of National Democratic Congress (NDC) Hon Fifi kwetey as ‘Inward Looking Trabal bigot”.
Speaking in an interview on Wontumi TV/Radio with Kwaku kyeremateng Nkansah, the Host of
Talk Ghana, lawyer Obiri Boahen lamentd that, Mr Fifi kwetey should not have made this statement which will destroy the relationship between Ashanti and the Ewes.
“The NDC votes in the Ashanti Region is higher than that of the volta region. It’ll be inappropriate for people to describe the Volta region as the world bank of the NDC and it’s inappropriate to say NDC doesn’t perform well in the Ashanti region”
He detailed that there’s a different between Asante and Akan
“I’ll describe him as an inward looking tribal Bigot, he sees the NPP as an Asante and NDC as an Eve. It’s not anyone in the Volta region is an Ewe nor anyone from Ashanti is an Asante”
Mr Fifi kwetey who is the general secretary for the Ndc describe this upcoming
general election as the the election between Ashanti and Ewes “
