A popular chief and media commentator, Nana Oteatuoso Kokobeng II has asserted that Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang is a ‘Julo’ to wit a thief.
Nana Oteatuoso Kokobeng II questioned the rationale behind Prof. Opoku-Agyemang’s decision to accept salaries she hasn’t worked for from a public university.
According to him, it comes to him as a surprise that at age 60, Prof. Naana Opoku-Agyemang could use her training in Literature to rob the nation whilst seeking a political position.
The respected chief descended on the running mate to former President John Mahama, describing her as “thief” who should be punished for committing such crime.
Speaking on the Wontumi Morning Show which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, Nana Oteatuoso Kokobeng II mentioned that he was surprised that a “60 year old woman who is also on retirement” could commit such a despicable act.
“God would punish you. Ghanaian women are not thieves but Jane Naana is a thief. She is stealing from the tax payers. I haven’t seen any elder women who is a criminal like you before…is that how you train your children? You are a ‘julo’ (thief) … and the police must arrest her”, he said.
