A student at the Sunyani Technical University by name Prince Owusu Agyemang, has been arrested by the Sunyani Police for duping a top New Patriotic Party (NPP) government official.
Prince Owusu Agyemang who is staunch member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) was arrested after he took advantage of someone’s predicament to steal an amount of GHC 24,000 from a good Samaritan.
The expose was made public by the Bono Regional Chairman for the NPP, Kwame Baffoe on the Nsempa Fie show on Wontumi TV.
In narrating the event, the NPP Chairman stated that Prince Agyemang had heard a victim solicit for help from an NPP official and quickly went to buy a new phone chip, register it on true caller with the victim’s name and called the NPP official to pretend he was connected to the issue.

The NPP top official requested for a bank account number and Prince a known sympathizer of the NDC quickly asked a friend to assist him with her account details without explaining to her his actions.
Soon after cashing out GHC24,000 from the account at GCB, the real victim called the NPP official to ask about the support he promised to assist her with.
This raised eyebrows and quickly an investigation was started- leading to arrest of Prince Owusu Agyemang.
Kwame Baffoe revealed that the issue has sent to Sunyani High Court by the Police and Prince Owusu Agyemang has admitted committing the crime.
