President Akufo-Addo and members of the Council of State shouldn’t give Mr. Kwaku Asomah-Cheremeh a listening ear should he come to Jubilee House to come and beg for another appointment, the Bono Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has forewarned.
Kwame Baffoe known in the political circles as Abronye has stated that he senses moves by former Lands and Natural Resources Minister to use traditional rulers as frontiers to get President Akufo-Addo assign him a new position in government after failing to fight galamsey as minister.
Abronye on the Nsempa Fie show on Wontumi Tv stated that Mr. Kwaku Asomah-Cheremeh failed woefully to continue with the good fight his predecessor Peter Amewu did at the Ministry of Lands & Natural Resources.

“Look at the work Amewu did from 2017 to 2018, if that momentum had continued, the Ghana Water Company would come back tell us about water rationing. A guy (Asomah-Cheremeh) took over and he came to lie to the President about galamsey”, Abronye said.
He continued that the former Minister is not worth receiving salary from the tax payer noting that “from 2018 to 2020, he didn’t do his work. He doesn’t need to be assigned outside Ghana. We are demanding accountability.”
He therefore cautioned President Akufo-Addo that Ghanaians were watching his moves and for that matter would be sad if he reappoints Asomah-Cheremeh to serve in his second term.
