A staunch member of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Prince Kumi, has appealed to President Akufo-Addo to incorporate the habit of reshuffling his appointees on yearly basis.
The NPP stalwart popularly known as Maxi stated on the Wontumi Morning Show that some appointees serving in the government of President Akufo-Addo have started growing horns and showing disrespect to others because they have come to believe that they would never be moved from their respect position for others to take over.
“If I were President Nana Akufo-Addo, I will reshuffle my appointees every year”, Maxi said on the show.
He added that because reshuffling hasn’t been on the table, some current appointees have developed the mind-set that they will stay in office for 4 years adding that “they don’t care about what they do in office”.
He finally appealed to people who get an opportunity to serve in President Akufo-Addo’s government to show humility.
