(VIDEO) REJOINDER: Wontumi Multimedia Sighted For Ghc300k Power Theft
Programs Manager for Wontumi Multimedia, Oheneba Nana Asiedu has flatly debunked speculations on social media that the Kumasi-based media outlet has been caught for Ghc 300,000 power theft.
Oheneba Nana Asiedu reiterated that Wontumi Multimedia has not been caught with any illegal connection or has a tempered ECG meter.
He said officials from ECG didn’t find any illegal connections when they visited the media outlet and penetrated every room including the office of the CEO, Chairman Wontumi, and the TV and Radio studios.
Speaking on the Wontumi Morning Show on Friday, he said, “the ECG officials detected debt on the old meter so they said they will change it but we told them we are using it and for that matter, we will pay the debt. And we had an agreement that henceforth any credit we will purchase there will be 40% deduction.”
Oheneba Nana Asiedu fumed that the debt on the old meter is dated four years ago and Wontumi Multimedia wasn’t the occupant of the building.
The Programs Manager told listeners, viewers and readers to expect more of this diabolical attack from a section of people Radio.
