The founder of the National Democratic Congress, Jerry John Rawlings, was fortunate to have died under the regime of the New Patriotic Party, an executive of the Progressive People’s Party, Richard Boadu, has noted.
The Communication Officer for the PPP in an interview on the Wontumi Morning Show, openly stated that the mortal remains of former President John Rawlings, would’ve been disrespected if the current executives of the NDC rather than the state, were allowed to organize his funeral.
In his view, rather than the NDC executives go hard on the NPP government, they should have provided suggestions on how the organization could have been improved.
Mr. Richard Boadu commended the government of President Akufo-Addo for ensuring safety protocols in relation to COVID-19 were observed during the organization of the funeral.
