NPP Annual Delegates Conference
If you miss the Ashanti Regional chapter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s annual delegates conference on Wontumi TV on Wednesday, 27th October, 2021, no worries.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), Lawyer Justin Frimpong Kodua’s presence nearly brought the well attended conference to a standstill.
This is because a chunk of the teeming youth crowded him, carried him shoulder high and chanted “Okumkom” songs.
The event was under the theme: Joining Forces to Maintain Power.
Lawyer Justin Kodua would be vying for the General Secretary position of the ruling NPP when the party goes for the National Delegates Conference next year to elect new executives to steer the affair of the party.
The NPP primaries is less than six months away, and candidates are already making the most of the time to raise awareness in ways possible for their election.
With the level of exuberance displayed at the delegates conference on the morning of Thursday, October 27, 2021, by some youth of the Ashanti region, it is anticipated that next year’s regional chairmanship race will be keenly contested.
This was evident when the youth clad themselves in some election merchandise, from t-shirts to caps and handkerchiefs which found their way to the venue of the conference at Ejisu.
