A private legal practitioner, Maurice Ampaw is calling on Otumfour Osei Tutu to reward the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party with a special title at the Manhyia Palace.
Speaking on the MMRA NE ABRABO MU NSEM show on Wontumi TV, Maurice Ampaw indicated that it took the vigilance of Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako to ensure the NPP maintains the Ashanti region as their stronghold.
According to him, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is a violent party and it took the leadership of Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako also known as Chairman Wontumi to tame them.
“They (NDC) are a violent party. Look at the way they are even behaving after losing the 2020 elections. Chairman Wontumi managed to scare them” adding that “the entire Ashanti Region should come together and reward Chairman Wontumi. I would propose that the Asantehene should give Chairman Wontumi a special title at his palace”, he said.
He described Chairman Wontumi as a brand noting that “when you look at the NDC, the person they fear most is Chairman Wontumi. He is Mahama and NDC’s headache.”
