(VIDEO) Obiri Boahen: I Cry For Gyakye Quayson
Deputy General Secretary for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen has shown sympathy for the embattled National Democratic Congress (NDC) member of Parliament, Gyakye Quayson.
Lawyer Obiri Boahen’s sentiment comes after the Supreme Court declaration of the Assin North Parliamentary seat vacant and also ordered Gyakye Quayson to stop clasping himself as a legislator.
Speaking on Wontumi TV Morning Show, the NPP Deputy General Secretary bemoaned that he ‘cries for Gyakye Quayson’.
He said the NDC MP knew the constitution doesn’t authorize him to contest as an MP but proceeded to contest.
Lawyer Obiri Boahen advised that Gyakye Quayson’s case should caution Ghanaian politicians.
